Josh Hanan
Executive Director
Josh Hanan is originally from Kansas City, MO, and has called the Memphis area home since 2007. He graduated from Desoto Central High School in 2014 and went on to attend Southern Illinois University at Carbondale for two years before transferring to the University of Memphis, where he graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

While marching, Josh performed with Cavaliers Indoor Percussion, the Southern Illinois University Marching Salukis, and the Southern Illinois University Percussion ensemble. He is entering his tenth year as an educator, and currently serves as the Battery Coordinator for Collierville High School in Collierville, TN, teaching alongside Devin Burgess. Outside of the music world, Josh is currently a Payroll Compliance and Tax Analyst for Hilton and enjoys golfing, attending Memphis Redbirds baseball games with his girlfriend Ashlyn, and spending time at home with their cats, Ash and Rhen.

Josh is thrilled to serve as the Executive Director for Grind City Percussion and is very optimistic for the opportunities the group will provide prospective members for years to come.

Devin Burgess
Program Director
Devin Burgess is a native of Janesville, Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin at Platteville receiving his bachelor’s degrees in instrumental and general music education. He studied percussion performance under Joe Caploe and performed with countless professional ensembles as an undergraduate student including the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra, the Rountree Chamber Ensemble, and the Rountree Wind Ensemble.
In his marching career, he performed with the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps, Gateway Indoor Percussion, and Capital Sound. He has served as an arranger and composer for the Desoto Central High School Marching Band where he was the percussion director from 2012 to 2022. He now teaches at Collierville High School in Collierville, TN where he directs the percussion program, conducts the concert band, and teaches music production.
He co-owns a music design business D2 media as an arranger, composer, and electronic designer. Devin is also a professional voice over artist and audio narrator known as “Man On Mic”. He is currently working on his graduate degree in Music Technology and Film Composition from the University of Southern Utah. He is excited to serve as the Program Director for Grind City Percussion.
He is endorsed by Remo, Sabian, Mapex/Majestic, and Salyers sticks and mallets.

Micaiah Radcliffe
Battery Coordinator
Micaiah Radcliffe is the Director of Bands for Lakeland Preparatory High School in Lakeland, TN. He graduated from Independence High School in Thompson's Station, TN, where he participated in the Wind Ensemble, Marching band, and Indoor Percussion Ensemble.
After high school, he continued his marching arts career as a charter member of Music City Drum Corps and marching in 2009 and 2010, serving as the battery section leader both years.
Micaiah earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin (UTM), where he studied under Dr. Julie Hill. During his time at UTM, Micaiah was an active member of the Percussion Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, University Singers, and the Skyhawk Marching Band.
Since the opening of the Lakeland Prep High School program in 2022, Micaiah has led the LP Band to consistent superior ratings at concert festivals, and 3 consecutive state finals appearances in both TN Division I and II championships.
Micaiah is a frequent guest clinician and consultant for winds and percussion in the region, having been on staff in various capacities for marching bands and indoor percussion ensembles.
Micaiah lives in Cordova, with his wife, Kerry, and their dogs, Zildjian and Winry.

Kerry Durso Radcliffe
Front Ensemble Coordinator
Kerry Durso Radcliffe is the Percussion Director for Bartlett City Schools. Kerry is an alumna of Father Ryan High School in Nashville, TN. She holds WGI bronze and silver medals from her time in the nationally recognized FRHS percussion program. Kerry played marimba in the Spirit of Atlanta Drum & Bugle Corps and Gateway Indoor Percussion front ensembles in 2011.
Kerry attended the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she graduated summa cum laude with her degree in music education. Since becoming the BCS percussion director in 2022, she has led the program to multiple concert percussion festivals and outstanding percussion awards in marching band. Most recently, the Bartlett High School marching band program has been crowned Regional Champions of the 2023 and 2024 BOA Memphis Regional, and qualified for Semi-Finals at the 2024 and 2024 BOA Grand National Championships. Outside of the Bartlett program, Kerry has been on staff as a front ensemble coordinator and served as a clinician for scholastic indoor programs in the Greater Memphis area. 

Kerry resides in Cordova, with her husband, Micaiah, who is an incredible percussionist and band director. They have two dogs, Zildjian and Winry. Outside of teaching percussion, Kerry and Micaiah enjoy live music, finding new favorite restaurants, and living in Memphis.

Haley Drobeck
Visual Coordinator
Haley Drobeck is an artist, choreographer, designer, and educator based in Northern MS. She is currently pursuing her bachelors of fine arts with a concentration in graphic design at the University of Memphis. After 4 seasons marching clarinet with the DeSoto Central marching band and 3 seasons with its various indoor programs, Haley went on to perform with Genesis DBC, Colibri Winter Guard, the Troopers DBC, and Music City Mystique.
Haley has worked with multiple groups in MS, FL, AR and TN most recently with Nashville’s PIW group Audio Theater. Currently, Haley is the director of guards at DeSoto Central High School and serves on the Troopers alumni association leadership group, the Sabers Circle.
